Yes, it's kind of like the person in the office that you give "special projects" to so they're, at least, out of the way. One downside, though, is the risk of expansion of the hole in the ozone layer from the sudden bursts of humongous volumes of gas. I guess everything has positive and negative aspects. (Perhaps the releases could be captured and processed as an alternative energy source?)
