OK, just bought a low end refurbished Compaq lap top from an auction site for my wife for Christmas. Came with no manuals, and I have no idea even how to turn it on. LED's are on, but the screen is blank. Came with a Win95 CD, but the computer has no CD drive. Apparently Win95 was not preloaded (just guessing, either that or I really do need to figure out how to boot it).

Anyone else been there/done that, that can offer any help?
