I agree that the Republicans want to bury this impeachment thing as quickly as possible. So sometime in the next month and possibly in the next week even it will end. At that point look for a gigantic relief rally. Anyone short will get absolutely killed. I suspect we just continue rallying at least thru mid Feb. After that I'm not sure, the usual problems- asia, Japan, Brazil, etc may reassert themselves. Sometime before the next quarters earnings in April I see some market weakness happening and that may be when y2k starts really frightening people. We could get a nice correction and even test 9k then. I expect us to end the year near 12k though, since these problems don't really look too bad. I can't believe amzn though. I must be really thick- I just don't get it. I think that the internet "bubble" will be the longest bubble of recent years before it falls apart. I don't believe there are too many shorts left with either the cash or the balls to continue shorting amzn. When/if it ever does collapse not many shorters will profit. And even if it does collapse, how many times Barnes and Nobles will it still be worth???
