The NC seems to me like a throwback to the days of the PDP-11. Then you had a host and a bunch of terminals. The desktop & PC, were hailed as individual control for each station. The NC touters seemed to be asking us to revert back to the old concept. I dismissed it immediately and I think most consumers will do likewise.
