MORE NEWS IS OUT!!! ETPI Acquires Additional Sports USA Locations
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 16, 1998--Entertainment Technologies & Programs Inc. (OTC BB:ETPI), a fully integrated entertainment and amusement gaming company, today announced that NiteLife Entertainment has just been awarded contracts to provide their exclusive entertainment services for two additional Army ''Sports USA'' locations. NiteLife has added Fort Stewart, Ga. and Fort Hood, Texas to the services already provided at Fort Riley, Kan.
The Sports USA facilities incorporate new high-tech video games, pool tables and indoor basketball courts, along with a variety of food services, a format similar to that of Disney's (NYSE:DIS - news) ''ESPN Zone.'' The main focus of these locations is the entertainment, including satellite feeds to multiple big screen projectors and televisions. NiteLife is working in conjunction with the NTN Network (AMEX:NTN - news), NFL SUNDAY TICKET and a myriad of Pay Per View sporting events to provide the video entertainment. The United States Army Headquarters Forces Command has embarked on an aggressive campaign to install their Sports USA in military club locations throughout the world.
Chairman/CEO James D. Butcher stated, ''These two new contracts are a result of the successful implementation and positive results of the first Sports USA concept in Fort Riley, Kan. We look forward to opportunities for additional contracts as more Army clubs are converted to the Sports USA format. This is an exciting growth vehicle as NiteLife joins our other divisions in demonstrating substantial potential for revenue and earnings growth heading into next year.''
