GERN GERN - here is the news the GERON group is waiting for Congress is in its preparation to announce federal funding for development and testing of stem cells for the purpose of curing multiple diseases. This is a victory for sick people, patients with diseases such as cancer, and the entire biotechnology community. With federal funding, steps toward actualization in using this new "stem cells" technology in treating cancered patients will shrink to within one to two years. Has not hit wires yet.
