Isn't the current administration already sullied by these events?>> Didn't you say.... <<<<I was commenting on the political value of the office...it seems many on this thread underestimate the oval office and it's aura>> Removing bc from office demonstrates that the integrity of the oath of office, truth, obstruction of justice, etc are standards that our form of constitutional government protects. Who ever takes office in the future "moderate republican" or "democrat" is another issue. But it would be nice to feel as the are taking their seat in the oval office, that they have respect for the role and its responsibilities to uphold an oath of office.
