Well, for one thing, it *won't* cost the same as the Zip. The LS-120 is going to be more expensive, or have lower margin, or both. Remember, the LS-120 needs four read heads: one magnetic and one optical per side. Also, the disks are harder to make.

To the huge desktop market 1.44Mb compatability won't mater. I've got plenty of room for a Zip bay. But to the laptop market, the LS-120 will look pretty good.

This will be a battle.
