Mr. Redman,
would you be kind enough to comment on the FEMA Report.I'm concerned the states don't seem to have enough time, particularly for testing.Your company sounds like they are doing better than the states.Did the states start too late?Did they allocate less resources than your company?TIA

from FEMA statement 12-16-98
Based on the feedback received from the assessments, all State level
agencies that have responded have resolved or are planning to resolve
the vast number of Y2K related issues involving critical emergency
preparedness facilities, systems, and services. Several of the States are
making significant progress and report that their mission critical systems
will be in compliance during the next several months. Nineteen States
answered directly, the question of whether or not they will be Y2K
compliant by January 1st, 2000. Of these, 8 States said they expect to
be compliant by mid-1999, and the additional 11 said they expect to be
compliant by the end of 1999. None of those States responding
indicated that they would not be in compliance for Y2K conversion.

OK so no state is compliant12-16-98.16% claim compiance by 06-30-99,and 38%
claim compliance by 12-31-99.31 states did not even respond to FEMA.This does
not give me warm and fuzzy feelings.
