>> Every time I buy Dell stock..my husband harps on me to sell it... today was no different... but it seems that he may be right....selling it now and buying it back closer to earnings might be the thing to do...right now Michael Dell is distracted with his other business.(is this a bad sign to Dell investors? I don't know)<<

Annette, I think there are too many die hard Dellheads who do not want to take a look at the fact that something has been wrong with this company for quite some time. The momentum has diminished and this stock just does not perform the way it used to. For Michael Dell to sell so much of his holdings and be vested in other companies at a time when shareholders are becoming more and more uncomfortable with Dell being stuck is good reason for concern. I normally advocate buy and hold strategies but the market is definately trying to tell us something about Dell and its poor performance. Our objective is to be making money and certainly there are better opportunities else where. The Nasdaq has been on a tear and this stock has been going no where. Yes I am very much aware of the past performance and I really am getting so sick and tired of being reminded about it. It is truly pathetic that you can go and buy 1000 shares of Amazon, a company that is not making dittily squat and make more money in a few days then being invested in Dell for the last few months. I think Michael should address our concerns and focus his attention on the company that originally created his wealth.

Frank
