Thanks, Kerry. FWIW, I went back to the PRISA web site and pulled this information from a 1995 press release of theirs announcing their first product line: PRISA is a privately held company that began operations in October, 1994. The company was co-founded by Friedmann and Don Deel, vice president of Product Development. Both have been actively involved for many years in developing and marketing high-speed networks. Friedmann was previously vice president of Network Products for San Diego-based AMCC (Applied Micro Circuit Corporation). He holds a BS in Physics from UCLA and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Deel, who holds a bachelor's and master's degree in computer science from UC San Diego, was a systems engineering manager at AMCC. PRISA is funded in part by a $2.4 million investment by Western States Investment Group of San Diego, California, specializing in new venture and acquisition capital. Founded in 1974, the company has been involved in funding more than 20 successful businesses.
