Wed 16 Dec 98 Acquisition
The VSE has accepted for filing an amending agreement dated Nov. 20, 1998
between Major General and Battle Mountain Canada (a TSE public company) to
an agreement dated Jan. 23, 1992 whereby Major General was granted the
option to acquire 100 per cent interest in the Rendell Jackman property in
Newfoundland. In the original agreement, Battle Mountain retained a back-in
right on the property, and the amending agreement removes that back-in
right in consideration of Major General issuing 50,000 shares to Battle
Mountain.
