Actually, the only reason I thought of shorting BAMM was because I tried to short it a few days ago, at 13, I missed it by 1/16, and it closed at 11, or so. It would have been a perfect short.
I shorted TAVA a couple of days ago, and did quite well.
Overall, I have found that if I shorted every stock that I bought, over the last few months, I would have done better, overall, than I have done going long. (Although my record, overall, is actually quite good, for a newbie.)
I do believe, at this point, that shorting TALK was, probably, a bad idea, but, with the current market situation, I suspect that I will be able to cover in a few days...maybe sooner. It will probably gap up in the AM, but, who is to say, with the current market situation? I expected SHRP, ASTM, VRTX, and a bunch of others to gap up, and they did not; and we were not at war, then. Fortunately, I don't have a big position....but I would love to see TALK at 9 or so.
Oh well, live and learn ...
