Without going into detail, I held Dell in the early 90's and have followed it since then, and obviously over the last year since I am back in. I don't think there is any 'normal behavior for the last quarter. 3 of the last 8 years looked a little like the current quarter.

- stock gained strongly throughout second half and into 1991

- stock looked a lot like this year, big gains early, then flat

- strong rise throughout the last quarter - but watch out ahead, Dell went over the cliff going into 1993 and didn't regain previous highs until 1995.

- lost more than 50% of its value in first half, recovered only 20% by year end, but last quarter was a steady rise

- steady growth, including 4Q

- declined throughout 4Q

- rose the whole year including 4Q

- we probably all know that story, that was when I bought back in on the decline in December, 4Q was declining.
