Howard, I can appreciate your defense of the constitutional process. And I thank you for that. It's that process that probably would have thrown him out of office if he hadn't decided to bomb Bagdad and make it a bit more difficult.

Now history will remember him as the American President who bombed Iraq to divert the people's attention from his impeachment. Whether the tail wags the dog or not, that's how it will be perceived. Whether Saddam needed it or not is irrelevant.

In re: Mr. Hyde, I don't remember any accusations of the little girls down on their knees before him. I don't recall any cigar incidents or insuations of same. I do seem to recall that when asked, Mr. Hyde promptly 'fessed up.

I think most American people would have massively supported Mr. Clinton if he had told 'em all at the beginning:" Yep! I did it. It's my personal business but since you asked, Yes I did. Now butt out of my personal life and let me get on with being president."

But he didn't say that. He insulted our intelligence with attempts to define the word "is". He became the laughingstock (along with Ms Lewinsky) when the cigar story came out. And again, when he said oral sex ain't sex. I don't see how anyone can say that with a straight face.

We (and I speak for every man and, a lot of women, that I personally know) think it's impossible to believe anything he will ever say.
We will never have the faith in him or his actions that the office he holds should command.

He's not my president. He won't ever again be my president. He ain't commander in chief except in title and he won't ever be respected by the military or veterans.

People who consistently tolerate less than the best behavior usually get it. We tolerated him and we got him. Now we're gonna' use our constitution to impeach him. I despise a man who won't stand up for himself and tries to put the blame on anyone else.

To anyone who got this far in this long post, I apologize for it's length. It won't happen again.
