[Telechoice news] Seriously why would they do such a preannouncement. Not like they need ad revenue and trying to generate clicks? If they know news- post it?? What kind of tease is that?

I say it is one of the following:
1. Major merger like Orckit is getting bought by Cisco.
2. Actual deployment by one of the major telcos. Say Nynex is offering services in Catskils for selected customers.
3. USRX get's feet wet in ADSL and announces premium AOL highspeed service.
4. Bob Dole is appointed to spearhead an ADSL task force.
5. Chinese government orders ADSL for remote villages of Tibet in order to subvert local culture
6 Pat renounces her faith in Amati and converts to Westell, swearing never to go higher than 14.4
