You think Im trying to dig myself out of something? Nope Mr.K I see no reason to do that. DeLay isnt smart enough to be my leader. If hes ok for you, fine.
look what our most recent product of that has done for the White House.
He appointed top people to the positions that matter Im talking about Rubin etc. We all are better off now than in 1990 and Silicon Valley supported Clinton, thats enough for me. Nobody supported DeLay from out here.
My complaint about DeLay, which you choose to distort, is that fact that he was satisfied as a citizen to build a business in Midland Texas, when nothing else was going on there, not exactly a thriving metropolis, and yet, dispite his unimpressive credentials thinks he is somehow in a position to morally judge Bill and Hillary that greatly overtake him in terms of relevance. The Bush family, Michael Dell and other Dell management do not have the problem that DeLay does, because they have distinguished themselves in business far beyond DeLays mediocre accomplishments. I dont know what its like in the pest control business - maybe its black and white who knows, but Ill tell you what, I dont want some pest control guy deciding international policy or for that matter whether msft is anti competitive, etc.
Again, if DeLay and his goony counterparts want to act like statesmen then no problem. But when they act like a bunch of fools and humiliate the country then you have to wonder why hes there. I am wondering why he is there. |
