Yup, especially on ASCT when it popped to 5 1/4 within 10
minutes of your 9:30 call on a Parke-Davies $10 takeover
rumour. I bought at 4 3/4, after all if Parke Davis already
offered $10, how could I lose?
After it began tanking, I called the CEO Alan Fox, who said flat
out there were no takeover talks. V.P. Finance John Bernardi
called me back to confirm this was a completely untrue rumor.

Joe, I know you wouldn't hype this one, but how can you explain
the close at 3 1/2, and absolute denial by top executives.
If there was no truth to the rumor, seems they would have
given me a "no comment." Any thought's?
