E, I showed your post to the Long-Suffering Husband, and asked him to agree that it was funny, and he said, he didn't get it, there already were schools which were started by religions, etc. He didn't like Alice in Wonderland either. I remember when we were in college, he wanted to go to med school, and he had to make an "A" in English, and he could not, for the life of him, "get" literary criticism. "It's a poem," he would say. "What else is there to say?" I think it's like being color-blind. I think your sparring partners are something like color-blind, too. I don't think they are ever going to see the multicolored light. |
