EP,

So far I haven't found it, but I get a lot of magazines in a month. I really think that the one article I saw was in the WSJ and it concerned the 401(k) delay that you've referenced. It is perfectly legal to have a delay and perfectly legal for the company to keep any interim interest earned on your 401(k) money to offset the company's administration costs. References cited in the article were from Fidelity and a host of other mutuals that offer 401(k)s.
