UHF was a great tutorial in video signal vs. noise. Now with cable - if the signal doesn't meet the box's strict standards - you get this blue screen. Just not the same. A sort of censorship, even.

Didja see "Poltergeist"? TV between channels on UHF plays a central role in that flick! "They're heeeeere..."
