Richard,

Re: SAP and ERP

Going forward I see interconnectivity increasing in importance for ERP systems, and comments from people in the industry (not myself) indicate that while SAP tends to have superior functionality, it is very difficult to interface with. Compared to ORCL or PSFT its architecture is inflexible.

Can you speak to this issue? I see a world change coming because of the internet and extended supply chains, and I don't know that SAP is very well positioned for such an environment. Thanks for any comments.

Shane
