Is that supposed to be good news or bad?

I'm guessing it was your intent of good news, but in my opinion it has more potential to be bad. Right now it appears there is a very real likelihood that low sulfur fuel is where the future is headed. Makes it that much easier for OCP to be unnecessary.

Commentary on Boating:

Yamaha development of HPDI outboard suggests they have concluded that 4S is not the way to go in large motors. This is also supported by their development of an outboard cat as shown on their website. As far as the individual motors go, the Honda seems to be the one least likely to be bought. It's appeal is Honda's reputation for reliability. The Yamaha is impressive, but consumers pretty much expect EFI, at least most of them do. But the motor is better than I expected, particularly if they can build a 115hp model at a similar weight. Ficht motor didn't sound too good outside of it's fuel economy. Bad reputation and the noise at idle is a BIG deal since most consumers ARE those who will fit the 40% idling usage pattern (fishing). OptiMax was a powerhouse, has the big name, and was affordable. I'd say it's the OptiMax or the Yamaha, and those two are totally different, so for most that decision will be pretty easy depending on their tastes.

DCX still committed to diesels:
