from inFusion:

Start-up juices DSL bandwidth

The bandwidth potential of Digital Subscriber Line (DSL)
technology is about to triple with a clever innovation that
blends three regular phone lines into a relatively inexpensive
24M bit/sec pipe. NetSpeed, Inc. next week will unveil
BroadBond, its name for marrying tried-and-true inverse
multiplexing with DSL modems. It will be implemented in an
inverse multiplexer called SpeedRunner300, part of a sweeping
product line that includes a remote access server for customers
and a central office mux that lets carriers scrimp on modems.
