INTERnet PCs won't catch on, but INTRAnet PCs will. They meet a real need in the commercial world to replace the remaining 37 million! 3270 terminals worldwide. Low-cost, relatively simple (ie no mechanical components) to support, such desktops meet a very real need in such places as customer-service centers etc. For example, Bank of America has about 40,000 desktops in California, only a very small percentage of which need to be running general purpose office automation stuff.
