I don't read this thread but I did want to let the thread know of my experience with trying to order something from Egghead.com. I ordered an old DOS game that their website said they had in stock. The price was good, $8.00. Shipping was over $5.00 dollars, but I ordered it anyway. Never received it, so I emailed them with my order number. I got a automatic canned reply saying that they received my email. Then nothing for a week. Then I got a letter through snail mail saying what I had ordered was not in stock. My question is if they are an internet company, why can't they email me back. Why is their database not up-to-date. Why when I call them they tell me that my order was canceled because they do not have the product. Why didn't their letter tell me that my order was canceled. They have a lot of work to do.
