Yes, not a popular thread. But... I bought one stock after someone mentioned it here, and that stock turned out to be a winner for me. So for me, this thread did work out okay. Dividends are an important component of an overall gain in a person's portfolio as you know. But of course... in this market with many people caught up in the huge gains being made in internet stocks, there's not NOW much interest in dividend paying stocks. (And those dividends are pretty low now too.) Paul Senior
