stan - sorry to see your dismay - but your "politics in America, the subjugation of honor...to wallow in expediency..." comment is particularly interesting.

From your post I deduce that you believe in the "vast-right-wing conspiracy" that is out to undo the election of a president. Your condemnation of the "bastard" House members reflects a frustration with our present two-party political climate.

IMO, we have to look back some distance to see the genesis of this problem. Try the "what if" scenario and trace recent events back to the point at which they would not have occurred had not one original (dare I say, "seminal," <vbg>) act taken place. Do you know where that point is?

We would not be in this situation had not one man, Bill Clinton, subjugated honor to wallow in expediency.
