Hi Margaret. I get the Wall St Journal on line and they have a delightful thread going "I fought the Dow and the Dow won" asking people for their biggest investment mistake of 1996. Very interesting answers. Anyway, the point of this is that one of the "biggest mistakes" was from a gentleman who said he bought and held large companies and did fine up 45% for the year but if he had just held Intel (It was one of his six or seven) his portfolio would have been up 300%.
