Microsoft OFX announcement more hot air.

Transpoint has been working from a flawed business strategy from the start. Eventually they will completely copy the CKFR model but it will be too late.

Banks are where the customer keeps his money and that is not going to change anytime soon. These guys are where the market share is going to come from. I don't care what MSFT does to (OFX), BancAmerica, Chase, etc are not going to use Transpoint and put money into Citicorp's pocket.

Seconday sources for customer money will be with the Brokerage Houses. For example, according to the November "Investment News", page 19, Prudential and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter both use CKFR. Morgan Stanly started in July and Prudential (PruPAY)started this month and will offer it to clients in March. Merrill Lynch dropped out of a pilot program run by Transpoint. A source said it was because of "technical qlitches"

Webportals will also use CKFR. After airing out all the dirty laundry at the MSFT trial would you expect AOL to use Transpoint!!
