AT&T, Franklin Settle Suit; Greg Evans of Connect America Pleads Guilty for
Crimes Against AT&T

Business Editors

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 17, 1998--
Franklin Telecom (OTC BB:FTEL) Thursday announced that long distance

by either party as part of the settlement.
Greg Evans, Connect America's president, recently pleaded guilty
in the United States District Court for crimes committed against

Franklin expects the lawsuit to continue in relation to parties

Frank Peters, Franklin's chairman and CEO, said, "I am very

the legal 'deck' so we can steam full speed ahead. We are extremely

LAN, WAN, Telco and Satellite Systems and software. Franklin
