Do options go to bid 0 before options expiration or as a general rule do they the MMs at least have to bid 1/16 for them? It just seems to me like if they didn't go to 0 before expiration you could take the MMs to cleaners by selling them worthless options for 1/16 on the day of expiration. You could sell them tons of contracts for way out of the money calls or puts for that matter.
