Tim , I have just started to accumulate Zoran and so far I am happy that I have. I am confused by your comment about the AC-3 chips being junk and the market moving to Motorola. SRS labs announced their new audio technology, Trusurround, will be availalbe due to the launch of Zorans zr38600 single chip AC-3 decoder. Q-sound is now providing a high quality 3d audio processor via Zorans ar38600 chip. Five leading manufactures -- Dolby labs, Harman, Spatializer, SRS and Q labs have ported their algorithms to the zr38600. This all sounds like good industry support to me.
