Kenneth: The Russians have got it right on Iraq. What we are seeing today again shows the truth of the old dictum that absolute power corrupts absolutely. With no fear of retaliation US feels free to do whatever it wants and attack anybody it pleases. Settimg a very dangerous precedent. This can only encourage other countries to develop nukes as fast as possible. For who knows who will next be demonized by US politicians and bombed without warning.

Looks like those who hoped to profit from the shedding of Iraqi blood will be disappointed. But today's sharp drop in oil may have a silver lining by hiking the odds of additional OPEC cuts.
