>>> No Chaz, the point is

No the point is really that the contention that this is only because of some ostensible potential delay in a vote the republicans are going ahead with in any case is contemptible. Just like the republican impeachment effort.

Similarly, he posits that the military, the CIA, and others all committed immoral acts, wasted assets, lied about what their interrogation subjects told them and so forth, to provide a one day distraction for the president, rather than to send a message that American citizens, soldiers, diplomats, friendly neighbors and intelligence agents should not be blown up in US embassy bombings. That is not only stupid, but insulting to those who created the counterstrike and the memory of those who died.

But the debate case in point is that bombing is bombing. In bombing, bombs drop from planes, or they are individually set on the ground by hand. Missile attacks and artillery strikes are different animals. People who can't handle the vocabulary of the tools and tactics of the military are muttering conclusions about things military here.

I'm just saying that one should learn what the terms mean. If you have a genuine correction to my usage I am listening.

Chaz
