Before you label my politics I suggest you at least get it right first. It is common knowledge that the U.S. government felt that Sadaam Hussein WAS their best bet. This has been stated so many times that it is amazing that it even has to be repeated. The reason given is that there might be someone worse. Anyone who believes this is fooling themselves. I hate to break this to you Charles but we live in a dangerous world and if you think it's the kiddies, doggies and ponies that politicians give a damn about Sadaam Hussein would have been gone long ago.
