MOBILE CLIMATE CONTROL INDUSTRIES INC ("MCC-T") - Expands New York Presence
Mobile Climate Control Industries Inc., ("MCC") announced that it's mass transit division has opened offices in Rockville Centre, Long Island, New York. The office is strategically located in the midst of the vast New York metropolitan area mass transit market, and positions the company to better serve its growing list of customers throughout the region and the rest of the United States.
Heading the office will be Michael P. Wetherell, Director of Business Development, Rail Mass Transit, who joined MCC earlier this year. Prior to his employment with the company, Mr. Wetherell was a senior executive of the MTA Long Island Railroad, North America's largest commuter railroad. He is a 1982 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He also holds an MBA degree from Hofstra University, New York, and has served on a number of mass transit industry councils and organizations.

In July of 1997, at the ground breaking for MCC's 67,0000 square foot Utica, New York plant, Governor George E. Pataki stated that MCC was ".... poised to become a major player" in the New York mass transit market. The Utica plant was completed ahead of schedule and is now operational.
