Doug: I respect your knowledge of the energy industry but feel that you and millions of others are so easily fooled by government propaganda. This whole weapons thing is just a fig leaf to try to install a US puppet regime in Iraq. And help head off Clinton's impeachment. It is that simple. All the rest is BS. And did it ever occur to you that other countries may want to develop weapons of mass destruction to have a deterrent to a US first strike? The spectacle of a huge superpower bombing the hell out of impovriched Iraq is going to greatly increase the pressure on many other states to develop these weapons. As well as inflaming millions of Moslems world wide. We all know that the US will never attack anybody who can effectively hit back. And do not be surprised if a lot of Americans eventually are killed in the inevitable terrorist retaliations for these murderous attacks.
