Kerm / Alberta Clipper

They haven't hung a name on it here yet, but I suspect it is your "Alberta Clipper" going by my window this evening. Lots of snow and winds are to increase. The forecast is for the temperatures to drop to -30 C (-20F) in southern Manitoba tomorrow. This weather is heading for Duluth and probably onto New York State. Better put the heat lamp in the outhouse.

Funny how they only name weather systems when they come from somewhere else. Pass the blame I guess. Most of our heavy weather comes in the form of a "Colorado Low".

Time to put the Long Johns on and hope the Albert Spot Prices start to rise as the temperature drops.

Just too quite on this thread lately.

Take Care
Al
