Hi Alexa! This is wonderful! We are desperately in need of a little class around here. (Oh, I'm sorry, J. I know how hard you've tried to keep the tone up in the culinary dept.)
Are you still making frequent trips to Europe? I see you're an antiques appraiser. But have a JD? You sound so interesting, I'll overlook the fact that you know Jeff. (Luv ya, Jeff)
Gosh, who else can I insult in my welcome post?

We saw Der Rosenkavalier Saturday night. The first act closing aria was deadly. I have enough middleaged angst of my own without listening to someone else carry on about her deterioration. Of course her youthful inamorato did leave her in Act II for a blonde bimbo-(yes Freddy- a Lolita). He was probably tired of her whining. Indeed most of the audience left her after Act I.

The Dallas audiences are frequently criticized for their boorish behavior and the fact that their favorite opera is either Porgy and Bess or Hansel and Gretel. But they are very generous with their standing ovations. I would love to see an opera at the Met, or La Scala..we tried to get tickets in Salzburg, but they must sell out way in advance.
Welcome to Feelings! We need another charming, attractive, bright and witty female here. (Are you a blonde, by any chance?)
