George, and thread, don't you feel that Israel would probably nuke Sadam if we (primarily the US) pulled out? Remember when the US abstained in the security council after Israel took out the nuclear reactor in Iraq (late 80's I believe)? It appears to me that US tax payers are preventing a nuclear attack by Israel, by way of $billions in conventional ordinance.

I still say that bombing a desert with $billions of US dollars is ridiculous. And aren't the pictures of blown up military barracks worth every cent?!

We are being played like a fiddle. Clinton is milking it. Bush and Carter are wrong.

Give me 20 US Navy Seals and a $billion and I'll get the SOB. When I'm finished, it'll look like Kurds done it.

We're not getting out of this mess without ground troops going in.
