E-bay is pretty expensive right now, but I have watched and talked to many people who have been using E-bay a great deal. I'm of the Peter Lynch theory of investing. "Look at what people are doing, using and buying. Then research the company. If it's sound, place your order." That's how I personally invest. By the time you'll hear a investment house such as Merrill Lynch recommend a stock it's usually too late to make a big profit. Read his two books. GREAT INFORMATION in there. He was the best of the best in mutual fund investing.

Back to E-Bay, I think it is where things are going and is the best at what they do. Long term I believe you'll do great, but it may be hard to time when to get in if you're short term. You should probably wait for some profit taking to come in before the end of the year. It should happen because many investment managers will want to lock in their profits before the end of the year. That would probably be your time. Then again. If you're long term, don't try to time it. Dollar cost your way in.

In summary, I believe E-bay is a very good investment long term. More and more people will be buying and trading using E-Bay over the years.

Good Luck
