I agree with most of what you said, however, I think you assume Amazon's margins are too small. If they are that small Wal-mart will go bankrupt because of overhead as it will not be able to compete. The other factor is that Wal-mart has to set up a store here in venezuela for me to buy from tehm, I already buy CD's and books from Amazon as tehy dont pay duties in small amounts, thus the whole world is tehri market, giving an additional popential boost.
