J. The networks only own a few stations each. The ownership groups, like LIN and Paxson own the bulk of the 1600 TV stations in the US. Divi did Paxson.............................. divi.com Paxson Communications owns and operates the nation's largest group of television stations. KOMO is owned by Fisher Broadcasting............................ divi.com KOMO TV KOMO TV, an affiliate of the ABC Television Network, is owned and operated by Fisher Broadcasting Inc. Fisher also owns KATU Television in Portland and 24 radio stations in Washington, Oregon and Montana. And JVC/DIVI HD encoder is due in early, 1999.
