Hi Mazman: The reason LMT is mentioned in the news release is that they are the primary equipment integrators for the proposed Astrolink system. Astrolink wants to be the satellite based, Ka-band provider of high speed data services. They will compete primarily with the Teledesic, Skybridge, and Spaceway systems for the "data" market (not the same as Iridium and Globalstar). I would imagine they own a similar spectrum as WCII in Ka-band and the FCC is attempting to make sure they don't interfere with each other. Cheers! Jim P.
