TTI Wins Contract From IDT Corporation

TTI To Install Full Network Management Solution and an Intelligent Routing System, its new CDR-Based Product
TTI Team Telecom (NASDAQ:TTILF; "TTI") announced today that is has been awarded a contract with IDT Corporation (NASDAQ:IDTC) ("IDT") to provide a full Netrac-based network management solution, including fault management, configuration management, performance monitoring, and an SS7 surveillance system. In addition, TTI will provide an intelligent routing system, its new Call Detail Record (CDR)-based product. Installation is expected to be completed within six to Nine months.
IDT is a leading emerging multinational carrier that combines international and domestic long-distance telephone, Internet access and global Internet telephony services to provide a broad range of telecommunications services to its wholesaler and retail customers worldwide. The Company has also developed a fast growing wholesale telecommunications business, by routing international calling traffic from other carriers through its own telecommunications switching and network infrastructure.

It collects large quantities of information from the CDRs and uses the processed information to analyze both subscriber call patterns (in real time) and traffic behavior over the entire network. In addition, it assesses Quality of Service by creating traffic and performance indicators and reports, identifies incidents of fraudulent use of the network, and provides real-time billing verification. This system will help distinguish idtc service improve profit and reliability and help gain demographics of users and real time billing across platforms from one service provider to another |
