eks, i would not settle for 30% premium. heck, we could get that in no time any way. Here is a thought. Sunw is actually several different companies. Server, Software and Microprocessor and network. IBM is sitting on 5 B cash from T. Also i heard ibm is moving towards solaris instead of their own OS. IBM needs to come up w. better earning ( buying back their own stock does not work 4 ever). MARIMBA uses IBM as their sales channel. So IBM maybe intrested in maybe 25% of the sunw. breaking up the company's business units could add up to small change ...right ? 25% here and 25% there could add up to real mony. unless some one is talking real mony, Scott's ego can not be for sale.
