The problem is institutional crosses. There is a huge
difference in inferring the market's sentiment when
considering a single cross of 1 million shares versus
500 trades of 2000 shares.

From that perspective, indicators like OBV alone or
in combination with other indicators are useless to me.
If one can factor out large crosses, then the indicators
hold much more validity. Or, if such crosses are done
on a regular basis, then there might be some merit to
the indicator. However, one cross on a stock that hardly
sees such crosses will throw these indicators way out
of whack.
