ed. enigma as self absorbed.... maybe that's a bit "harsh", when self contained might do... [see my post 4047] and as far as partner hunger.... hmm, i' m not so sure that web host "hunger" is all that appetizing....which speaks to your final point: the perils of mediocracy. "most of us missed the point"...??? more to follow, but let me say that i never expected to find in a revised, or enhanced product line the future hope of ampex.
