Since August 25, 1998. I had flu-like symptoms that day while sight-seeing at the McIlhenny Tabasco factory at Avery Island, Louisiana. Went back to my dad's house in Baton Rouge, got in bed, couldn't move for a couple of days. My dad came in the room, poured four 200 mg Advil into my hand, handed me a cup of water, I took the pills, and about an hour later, got up and went to the movie with my sister.

This was about two weeks after I had a root canal started, the endodontist told me I had a lot of decay in the tooth. When he was drilling, all of a sudden I had a funny feeling, and I wanted to ask him, are you using a clean bur or do you wash them and autoclave them, but my mouth was full of dental stuff.

I still think it was started by an infection, found a doctor who is willing to give me antibiotics, so I started that a couple of weeks ago. I do feel better, but the truth is that the antibiotic (doxycycline) makes rheumatoid feel better even if there is no infection, so I won't know for a long time. Months.

What about you? What started yours?
